you and me both. I picked up almost 3 full 30 gallon garbage bags this afternoon.

I have a pool noodle I can donate to your cause.
In #eldercare #alzheimers news today, mom is just straight up hallucinating stories in an ongoing stream of consciousness monologue. No recognition of me or my wife. Questions about her story get sort of answered, mostly by "I'm not sure" or "I don't know". New symptom/progression for me. Yay.
You come off westbound 96 to southbound Stewart. Stop right at the parking lot behind Rudy's, the hotel, and the mcdonalds.
From Stewart you turn on 5th, and a stop in front of the post office (nice sidewalks there), you're a block away from the convenience store, hardware store and a couple restaurants.
From the post office on 5th, left on Banning, right on 4th, and left on Washington. Stop there on the corner and you're at the best pedestrian cross of 61 in order to get to Pezzo's, cup and cone, Ingredients, etc on the west side of 61. lots food and drink within a block from that corner. Plus, that's usually the center when people get together to protest.
From Washington you take a right on third and a left on Clark, where you have a traffic sheltered stop, and parking. Also conveniently near the library. Then on to second and then 61 southbound to keep going around the loop...
Okay I have spent too much time thinking about this while I'm working, lol... Counter-clockwise would be best, I think. Notes on the alt texts...
I'd run it through downtown wbl not just up 61, maybe 3rd to banning to 5th to stewart, then up to 96...
Awooo.... I think my siren close to work here isn't working right.
Auto zone currently has a 20% discount on online/ ship to home orders, but they only ship AGM batteries, which are the more expensive ones unfortunately... They're only up $10 from when I bought one for my Jeep Cherokee in 2023...
Pretty sure the super moon was invented while people were home during COVID... Yeah yeah we get it, half of the full moons are closer than average...
Also, I have purchased $200 lawn mowers that came with motor oil to actually start the thing, I spend $800 on a generator and now I have to go buy $2 of oil to start it?
Very weird and wrong chart showing temp ranges for various oil viscosities. Apparently 5w30 only works in the winter, while 10w30 works to over 100 degrees. Lol...
I bought a generator (for several reasons, trump and a travel trailer for retirement being the main ones, and now mutual aid. Have someone that needs a large emergency generator, please let me know...) and the owners manual has this, which, what the fuck?
The Saint Paul/Maplewood border (on the north side) is Larpenteur Ave, this is north of there, it's Maplewood proper.
Google earth view of a part of the MSP airport, the north side of 34th ave... Terminal 2 is on the left, lower right is the fort Snelling cemetery, and top right below the visible runways are three large hangars that I've circled. One of them is the Target corporate airplane hangar.
This is a street view of the north end of 34th ave next to terminal 2 at the MSP airport. I am wondering if all the red elements of architecture indicate that this is the Target corporate airport hangar...
So y'all know where terminal 2 is at the airport? One of these four hangars just past there is Target's corporate hangar. Might be the one with the red, not entirely sure...
I think some additional journalism is required to find out what the bottom line(s) of the poster on the right says.
The venn diagram of Onion stories and actual news continues to overlap uncomfortably.
not only has Warren Buffet donated more than twice the total of the entire rest of that list, Mackenzie Scott (Bezos' ex) has donated more than everyone combined other than Buffet and she's not even on the list...
this post brought to mind the "congrats, or i'm sorry, tl;dr" meme but your post really wasn't tl;dr enough to qualify for that.
Good night back at you.
I would dare you to eat it all on your own but I would be very disappointed you didn't share.
Can we get a Margo Price "don't let the bastards get you down" cameo
I'm grateful to be jumping in the car tomorrow morning and heading towards Phoenix, San Diego and a couple/few national parks. really need a break from (waves arms all around) this. need to relax, renew, refresh...
Sheets get changed every weekend. Bedspread usually too, but not every week, depends how much stuff happens on the weekend... Me, the wife, two cats and occasionally the dog when she can get away with it...
Was out moving trailers around during the 1pm Awooo and I gotta tell ya it hits differently now even out here in the burbs...
Sammie and Winston, two brothers, hanging out on the bed
My lap dog, Sadie
Sammy, Winston, Sadie (and me).
That *is* one of the games...
are Tootsie Rolls universally beloved? i will eat almost any other form of chocolate, including those disparaged upthread, but hard no on the Tootsie Rolls.
Did you see Jesse Ventura? Was upstairs before it started...
You got it. $33 is what I paid, how do you want to do this?
Hey MSP peeps, I have one extra ticket to the First Ave thing at noon today. dm me if you're interested.
Would a 15 year old Hudson's map book of the twin cities in my glove compartment qualify?
It really depends on your forecast. Ice dams are caused by poor attic insulation, so heat gets to your roof and melts the snow from underneath. That trickles down your roof until it gets to the eaves where you no longer have heat, so that melt refreezes and builds up, pushing water under shingles.
Get a roof rake and pull the snow down from the ground. Pushing it from up top can be dangerous because there usually is a layer of ice between the shingles and the snow. You only need to worry about the bottom 6-8 feet anyways, the goal is to prevent ice dams... (Minnesotan here)
