Oh, her skills look pretty good! I won't be spending Carats on trainee scouts again until Nishino Flower drops, but maybe I'll get Mambo in the free pulls π€

I want to believe in Blexas π€
Went back to dotAGE yesterday and played with the Shaman. After a restart, I was able to survive the Apocalypse again, and (without spoiling anything) did a better job of it than with Matus. Game still good π₯°
Immediately looked for Goombario, was not disappointed π
in woke 2 we are going to ignore the dumbest juvenile reddit atheists rather than argue with them
We've started eating pancakes for dinner occasionally. It's awesome; highly recommended
Interviewer: You might be able to catch some. It's all completely virtual. It's very simple, but it's also an overlay of physically based information that now exists on top of the real world. Herzog: When two persons in search of a pokΓ©mon clash at the corner of Sunset and San Vicente is there violence? Is there murder? Interviewer: They do fight, virtually. Herzog: Physically, do they fight? Interviewer: No- Herzog: Do they bite each other's hands? Do they punch each other?
Happy 30th birthday to PokΓ©mon. Without it, the greatest Werner Herzog quote of all time would not exist.
That's where I bought my Dreamcast!
Seconding this rec. It's very strong stuff
Post your favorite Lord of the Rings character. Wrong answers only.
Which celebrity death hurt you the most?
(This may seem like a cliched answer, but it's true)
Whoops, misspelled Nayru's name in the alt text π
writing a book on this at the moment, but in short: Iβm fine with homeownership. the problem is home price inflation, which is a product of government policy and actually reduces homeownership over the long term
Link watches the titular Oracle of Ages, a blue-haired woman named Naryu, sing. By the way, all of these screenshots are from the wonderful fansite Zelda Dungeon (https://www.zeldadungeon.net/).
A side-scrolling subterranean passage in Oracle of Ages, with ladders. Yes, Link can get the ability to jump later on!
An overworld section. Behind Link is a winged blue bear; they're both surrounded by rocks and pitfalls.
A dungeon puzzle where Link has to turn floor tiles specific colors by jumping on them. Yes, jumping!
1. The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages (recced by superleaf444; beaten 3/9). Offbeat, with rideable critters, side-scrolling sections, long-winded NPCs, and more, plus the typical Zelda stuff. Ambitious for a Game Boy Color game, this one has aged *mostly* well. Not perfect, but still very good

Today's little bit of spring cleaning: scrubbing most of 30-odd(?) years' worth of grime off the top of the kitchen cabinets and ordering new valance clips for the vertical blinds, to replace a few broken ones (and have spares)

I heard from dozens of developers for this piece, and while I couldn't squeeze in all of their stories, I appreciate everyone who spoke up about their concerns. This is going to be a major problem for GDC and any US conference for the forseeable future
