Antisemitic bs suggesting the Michigan shooting was a false flag operation and other things in that vein.
The risk primarily comes from thinking LLMs can do more than they can more reliably then they can. If you are an LLM skeptic (and I would consider myself one), it makes sense that you have a good direct working knowledge of them - risks, what they do well and most importantly what they don’t.
Anyone losing a large amount of weight quickly, whatever the method, is at risk of osteoporosis unless they’re taking active steps to prevent it (eg weight lifting). This isn’t really a unique GLP-1 side effect, it’s a weight-loss side effect.
It’s incredibly tiresome how these people act as though neither Trump nor America at large have any agency. For all their willingness to blame all Israelis for the actions of the Israeli government, as soon as the US does something especially bad, they immediately look outwards to cast blame.
If NATO allies (not the US/belligerents) were attacked and Article 5 were invoked, Canada would have to uphold its treaty obligations. But the communications on this have been terrible.
I actually think there is in part a comms issue going on here. The second statement as sent out by email had grammar errors in it, which is not typical. The writing style also seemed off. Regardless, the PMO needs to figure this out fast.
You may already know this, but they may not fruit the first year if started from seed!
A very good boy with red and white fur hold a paw up for a belly rub.
(My own very good boy)
#uglydogs If you are near Quebec or Maine, a kennel in Quebec has to downsize and has a number of dogs available for adoption! My own very good boy came from here, so perhaps I am biased, but I have met some of them and they are all such friendly dogs.

We're aligning our fuel efficiency standards with the Europeans, which could open a bunch of doors around additional supply options/models. And we're bringing back the rebates.
Perfection, as ever, is the enemy of good.
I never thought Jason Kenney would be the voice of reason
The whole “no debt” thing tells me they think they get Canadian assets, but not Canadian liabilities, if they leave 🤦🏼♀️.
It’s common in some professions. It’s meant to show you’re well-rounded and to give the interviewer a chance to ask questions that will let the interviewee show their soft communication skills.
Also, may I say that I don’t agree with people saying ICE and CBP need “more training.” They’re doing exactly what this administration has trained them to—impose a reign of fear in blue cities. They don’t need more training. They need to be ripped up root and branch.
Here in Ontario I think some school funding ties to a diagnosis (BSWD and Canada Student Grant?) It sucks that kids can’t just be met where they are regardless of diagnosis but that’s the world we live in.
I think that is key. Pollievre’s cadre has so many connections to the US admin, many voters question whether he even *wants* to be less reliant on the US. There’s a difference between recognizing the cold realities of geography, and embracing what the US has become (and wanting to follow?)
I guess we’ll have to agree to disagree on where the technology is at. In any event, there are many Canadian dual-use technology firms (including drone designers and manufacturers) who will benefit from increased defence spending and R&D grants.
Sounds like it was a pro se plaintiff.
I can’t speak for the previous poster but: upping defence spending to make up for 30 years of under investment, taking actions to fix procurement problems that people have been talking fixing for 25 years, getting Canada into SAFE, restoring trade relations w/ China & many more…
Considering the size of the population of Iqaluit, this is a pretty big turnout!
I love my profession deeply, but some of them are not covering themselves in glory these days. If a mob boss draws a sharp blade languidly across your palm and says it would be a real shame for you to lose your pinky, your headline isn't "Godfather rules out hacking off finger to settle debt."
for context here, you also have to remember that Canadian-Chinese relations *cratered* in the last few years as a result of Beijing's hostage diplomacy. That the Canadians now have more trust in China than the United States is quite an achievement by Trump.
It's worth remembering that Canada arrested Meng Wanzhou based on American demands, held her on US requirements, and released her once the US cut a deal favourable to the US.
US treated us like a vassal throughout, and what exactly did we get? Trade deals torn up, tariffs, 51st state.
Now you do! There are some v knowledgeable Jewish folk on here that do a great job explaining how certain Christian archetypes are harmful (and rooted in historically inaccurate beliefs. “Pharisees” as a derogatory term is another). I highly recommend following Rabbi Danya Ruttenberg.
They’re being “aggressive” about it because this stereotype (greedy moneylenders) has been *explicitly* used to justify violence against Jews for centuries.
He was born in Hong Kong and didn’t move to Canada until 12, so presumably he can speak at least some Chinese.
I think this is the difference between accomplishing things vs being seen/heard to accomplish things.
See the readout from this morning.
I agree with the thesis; the problem I have with this article is that it seems to think there is a “make Canada stronger” button that government can push. The dependency on the US goes back a lot further than just the last decade. I also doubt the constitutionality of some of their suggestions.
