Where I live is dual living with a single power connection, we have DIN power meters for upstairs and downstairs. To save myself the math #ChatGPT to the rescue. Simple web interface with JS in the background. Run it up on my #homelab with #nginx and give it a DNS with #pihole. Easy

Upon further investigation it seems the Asus App stores the backup on the phone but that is transparent to the user
Little less concerning though the config files you download from the web portal do contain the credentials so be sure to secure those files if you are operating in a risky environment
I reset and reconfigured via the app so I can entirely see the possibility the config is stored on the phone not the hardware
Will try it again at some point with some variables when I can kill the network for a while

If you reset and restore from backup it displays configured credentials in plaintext for the wireless networks and the admin panel.
Sure would require physical access to the unit to reset but could prove useful in certain #redteam situations maybe?
