why do so many operating systems not let you set the date format to ISO8601. yyyy-mm-dd is like the most sensible for file naming conventions. I'm running kde on my desktop and now all my obsidian dates are mm/dd/yyyy

Found an app that lets me export my daily apple health data into obsidian. Super nice because I’m collecting a fuck ton of data and I like having that data, but I’ve always hated having it stuck forever in the Apple health app. Now I’ve got my historical data going back 11 years in .md files

new technology unlocked: pre-workout before the gym and adhd meds when I wake up. ADHD meds start kicking in half way through the workout. Just had one of the best workouts I've had in months

I can take handwritten notes or draw stuff (super handy for D&D) on my iPad now, and clipping pages or articles to store for later is just such a nice feature

Man I wish I hadn’t left my old small form factor office PCs at my last house when I moved. One of those with steamOS would have been such a wicked set top box to stream steam games to my TV. I think a couple of em even had really basic GPUs

Turns out somewhere along the way the MagicPods Decky plugin updated and now allows me to use my AirPods with full audio and mic quality with discord on my steam deck!

This is super nice because now I can be semi social when I wanna be in my plushie pile

@whitekiba I actually have a thinkpad dock that's compatible with the X220 but I don't use it because I have a desktop setup. I keep my X220 in my bedroom for messaging and stuff when I'm watching stuff. It's my bedroom laptop hahaha

16GB of RAM on an old thinkpad running linux goes so hard holy shit I'm astonished how well this X220 works for basically everything that doesn't require a GPU. I'm not gonna be watching videos on it because the speakers are ass but for notes and chat it's so fucking good

shit was giving me anhedonia and passive death ideations and shit! I just didn't wanna be around. It's so weird because vyvanse never did that to me but it's also moderated by my metabolism so it's possible that the adderall was just draining all my dopamine and fucking up my fight or flight

Okay, it's day 2.5 off the meds that made my brain all fucked up and I'm definitely feeling a lot more normal.

At the very least this confirms I should NEVER do meth lmao. Even a week and a half on adderall xr and the detox had me feverish and sweating and fucked up my GI tract and stuff

people who have set up matrix; has anyone gotten the jitsi screen sharing plugin working? Does it support screenshare audio?

I see that element/matrix supports screensharing with element calls but from what I can tell it doesn't support application audio unless you use the web client (what?????)
