Okay, I just watched the TED ep with the A.I. Bill Clinton. I don't think it made the joke any funnier by having an uncanny valley Clinton. Might have been even funnier if it was obvious it wasn't him.
Look, if you can explain straight marriage to your kid without the need to discuss the physical mechanics of heterosexual lovemaking, then there’s no need to feel explaining gay marriage demands that type of conversation either.
So what are these people uncomfortable about, really?
In my experience, kids are ready for the conversation. It’s the parents who aren’t.
Not ALL parents, obviously. Just the bigoted ones
Just performed an extremely sicko behavior. Saw a TED commercial in which the bear makes a LAW & ORDER reference and, remembering that show takes place a long time ago, checked to make sure L&O was on the air for the talking bear to see.
It was.
When people got mad at that girl on Twitter for being happy she was having breakfast with her husband
You know how everyone thought food prices were bad the last couple of years?
I’ve got bad news.
BREAKING: The US has bombed Tehran’s main refinery and burning oil is now flooding down the streets into the city’s sewers.
This is a vision from hell, unleashed by the US tonight.

If you're a powerful creative person, a moment will always arrive when you can do something a little brave that will help people, or refuse to. The book I'm working on right now is in part a history of who did what. All I'll say about this is, it never gets forgotten. deadline.com/2026/03/pixa...
Trump multiple times just today has said the country is at war. War can only be declared by Congress, and Iran posed no imminent threat. What Trump is doing there is a textbook illegal war and impeachable offense — if we still had a Congress.
This is disgusting, but also a tacit admission of just how horrible and indefensible it is.
One of my biggest flaws in life is assuming everyone I’m interacting with isn’t an asshole
One of their best casts and they let them all go!
5-8 get the most play. And 18-20. 9 & 10 have some gems I rewatch, but it’s less often I do the whole season
That’s probably outside the scope of the seasons I rewatch the most because it’s not ringing a bell
It was kinda like Mirror Universe L&O, even though NOTHING they did was unheard of or even unusual. Brings into stark focus just how much L&O sanitizes.
Also someone hire me to write Mirror L&O where everyone has goatees and acts like too many real world cops
My L&O rewatch recently got me to S8’s finale, “Monster.” Cops have a suspect in rape and assault of a little girl and are told to get a confession by any means.
And it’s a rare instance of Lennie and Rey acting like “real” cops, the slimy ones you see in docs who coerce and browbeat an innocent
I thought this was a parody of what he actually said but it’s a direct quote
Iran’s Foreign Minister says Trump derailed a potential path to de-escalation. He says Iran signaled openness to lowering tensions but Trump’s actions “almost immediately killed” that opportunity, warning if he seeks escalation, it’s “precisely what our Armed Forces have long been prepared for.”
This dude thinks he’s Captain Picard defending Data from disassembly
And when all these publications dissolve, Google will have nothing to scrape for new information.
Killing jobs and killing industries that will eventually lead to their own demise.

If you are so close-minded that you think Trump and the GOP are never right about anything ever, it means you’ve been brainwashed by the absolute irrefutable fact that Trump and the GOP are never right about anything ever.
I’ve got a special #TriangleEra post on my blog next week. Keep your eyes open for that…
Love that first image of Superman with the mammoth. In the rest, Superman's seeking out a secret alien race on Earth in the hopes of triggering another explosion. It works and the issue ends as he finds himself in... Camelot. #TriangleEra35
Shockingly, he runs into Chronos, a time lost villain of The Atom’s. With no better options, Superman decides to trust him. Predictably Chronos betrays him, but Superman's retaliation causes an explosion that bounces him further forward in time #TriangleEra35
Two years before JURASSIC PARK, Superman gets a taste of what it would have been to live with dinosaurs, even introducing them to music from 100 million years later. #TriangleEra35
35 YEARS AGO TODAY - ACTION COMICS #664, Triangle Issue 1991-12 is released.
Written by Roger Stern. Art by Bob McLeod. Superman's time travel adventure deposits him in dinosaur times, where he runs into a time-lost villain and also the origins of a foe he'll fight in his time.

I will never get over how the result of going through a global pandemic that killed over 7 million people, including 1.2 million Americans—and where we swiftly created an effective vaccine for it—was massive growth in anti-vax sentiment, the rise of RFK Jr., and the return of fucking measles.
a four-panel stick-figure cartoon panel one: three standing figures. from left to right, a guy wearing a necktie looking at his phone, an angry MAGA guy yelling FUCK YOUR FUCKIN POST FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU, and a rando just standing there like an NPC. panel two: the guy looking at his phone shows MAGA guy his hand, causing MAGA to vanish. the word Block hangs in the air where fuckface once was. a green-bordered in-game message appears, reading "+2 Mental Health." now the rando is suddenly interested. panel three: as our man continues doom-scrolling, a sly grin on his face, the rando on the right puts on a punch-me face and snarls: "Typical lefty, blocking everyone who disagrees with-" panel four phone guy shows the hand to punch-me face, causing the rando to vanish. the word Block hangs in the air where that dickhead was. a green-bordered in-game message appears again, reading "+2 Mental Health."
Also, I haven’t reached this ep yet, but I would bet money a TERRIBLE facsimile of Bill would be funnier than an accurate one
