Yeah, that's been happening here in the US as well. Furry has grown a ton here. Convention numbers have skyrocketed. When I joined in 2008, the biggest conventions got like 4,000 people. Now those big ones get over 17,000. I think we'll see a 20,000 attendance con soon.

I read the manga before the anime started and I really disliked how it ended. Like, it was super rushed to have an ending while not resolving a lot of threads. It put me off watching the anime beyond the first season. Sounds like the do even worse in the anime? Sad.
