With #GitHub moving into the CoreAI division at #Microsoft, are you sticking around or planning a move?
Most all-in-one products don't focus on code review like we do. If you're planning a move, plan to give Review Board a try.

There are worlds of software development tools we overlook, innovations we've missed.
We hand over our control to a few major companies, accepting the limitations and AI training that come with its use.
But there are other ways to develop.

One of the things we've built that I think we really got right is DiffX.org.
There really isn't any standard for diffs. Every tool has their own format. We've built a spec and implementation for a universal format retaining backwards-compatibility.
Extension authors can build new actions that users can place in the hotbar using Review Board's Actions framework.
We'll be adding new actions to the product over time. What actions would you like to see?
The review bar at the top, showing Add General Comment and Ship It actions. On the right is a menu showing the actions available to add (Create Review, Edit Review, Add General Comment, and Ship It).
We've built a new hotbar for your favorite review actions! Customize the buttons you use the most when reviewing.
This is now available in the new RBCommons.com, and will be coming to Review Board 7.1 soon.
This update features Dark Mode, multi-commit reviews, a new-and-improved review experience, dashboard improvements, better code safety, mobile support, image review in diffs, new integrations, and much more.
We're beginning our maintenance window on RBCommons.com for today's major service upgrade! We'll let everyone know when the new RBCommons is ready.
Has your team adopted #AI #coding tools? How have they been working out for you?
Are you reviewing that code using AI, people, or a mix of both?
We'd love to hear how this new era of AI-driven #development has impacted your own work.

It's our way of saying thanks for your support, and hoping you'll help us keep Review Board going for years to come.

Can you believe Review Board's 18 years old? The development world was pretty different when we started this, and we really don't want to do the math on our ages.
But here's some math we're happy to do: We're offering 18% off all new Power Pack licenses and support contracts until 2025!
Mercurial users can now post new binary files for review, viewable in the diff viewer. We've also fixed issues posting different sorts of multi-commit review requests.
Plus, lots of other fixes and UI improvements throughout.

If you're an admin reviewing code, we've made your experience a whole lot better.
Now you can switch between another user's published review request and their draft, helping you see what others see while letting you continue to modify or reassign review requests when needed.
Administrators, Mercurial users, today's release of Review Board 7.0.2 is for you!
Today's release brings:
* A new review request experience for administrators
* Stronger compatibility with #Mercurial
Plus plenty more.

🌘 Dark Mode has arrived in Power Pack 5.3!
You can now review documents and analyze reports in the late hours of the night (when you should probably be sleeping) without bright light searing your eyes.
Plus, an important security fix for PDF.js.

Stacked Changes / Diffs are a great way to keep your work manageable, small, and easy to review, all without adding a burden to your development process. It's a perfect match for Git and Mercurial.
And Review Board is a perfect match for Stacked Changes.

Review Board 7 is an easy upgrade from Review Board 5 or 6. Make sure you're running Python 3.8 or higher and you should be set.
But please test with a staging server and database first! Better safe than sorry.
If you need assistance with anything on your server, reach out about support options.

RBTools 5 supports:
☁️ Uploading images and other binary files from your commits for review
🔑 Web-based login (useful for #SSO / Single Sign-On)
🏃♀️ Faster performance when talking to Review Board
Review Bot 4 brings compatibility with Review Board 7 and supports the latest version of PMD.
We've also polished more of the UI, improved performance, and fixed a large number of bugs.
But that's not all. We've also released:
- RBTools 5 (command line tools and #Python API for Review Board)
- Review Bot 4 (automated code review for Review Board).
An example post on Microsoft Teams. It shows a review request with the summary "Add an integration for MS Teams." The description says "This adds the Microsoft Teams integration option. Like the existing Slack integration option, this integration will post a message to an MS Teams chat channel after a review request has been updated." There's information on the source code repository and branch, and a screenshot uploaded to the review request.
Review Board 7 supports posting review request activity and discussions to Microsoft Teams, helping your teams follow along with development while they chat.

The Diff Viewer's been updated to work better on smaller screen sizes. It's easier than ever to review changes on your phone while on the go.
