I don't know about you, but if I were a tech company or a policymaker, I would read that response as a warning—people are tired of having for-profit technologies that corrode their lives and communities rammed down their throats against their will. And some are willing to destroy them.

Campus leaders say they don’t police “The Rock” unless the content is threatening or profane. The decision has some students and faculty questioning what administrators view as threatening and whom they see as worthy of protection.

I am struggling with what might be a generational experience. The gulf war was pretty politically formative for me. It’s not history so much as memory this time.

It is destabilizing to see almost the exact same gameplan but this time without the guardrails that at the time I took for granted.

Resolve in 2025 to knit backwards except it ends up looking like crochet and also the needles don't look like any knitting needles you've ever seen.

Or, gee, IDK, learn a HANDICRAFT from actual HUMANS who have HANDS instead of genAI.
