i think it’s very obvious that they’re setting up an anti-loa vibe for the Isle of Fangs, and I do think he’s going to play a part in being anti-loa. But I do think it will be more of a “crisis of faith” storyline for him, and not villain batted or death.

Maybe I’m missing something, but I think the Blood Elves having a “satanic panic” moment about darker magics makes sense, given their story. I’m not saying they’re right, but as a story beat, it checks out for me. The Sunwell is their addiction, it makes sense they’re so protective of it.
