Being a person with deadly, incurable cancer who is nonetheless still alive for an indefinite timeframe gives me an interesting metaphor that helps me deal with things like large-scale corruption in government or commerce.

Bear with me for a second while I try to explain.

There Is Only One Key Difference Between Observability 1.0 and 2.0 In this article, Charity Majors goes over the simple, technical distinction between observability 1.0 and observability 2.0.

A lot of folks are starting to talk about o11y 2.0 and how it's different -- dev vs ops, pillars vs log events, etc. Which is cool But there is only ONE core distinction between 1.0 and 2.0; everything else is a consequence.

The easiest and fastest way to create and manage Kubernetes clusters in Hetzner Cloud using the lightweight distribution k3s by Rancher. - vitobotta/hetzner-k3s

I know the jokes abound that #k8s is overkill (for...everything?) but I love the deployment model and after running a hacked deployment script with ansible, I'm happy to run a one-node
#k3s on #hetzner.

The hetzner-k3s project makes it easy! Thanks

#TIL about dyff, indispensable to be able to do yaml diffs while ignoring order when comparing #helm charts outputs. Great tool! github.com/homeport/dyff
