Oh, also - we chose this date to launch the show more or less arbitrarily, but it seems like a good omen that we landed on the birthday of the funniest man there is. So, happy birthday @pftompkins.bsky.social!
We chased the weird things that made us laugh. Ash crushed as our first guest, and the other four episodes we've recorded so far have proven that the show is flexible enough to work with anyone. It's my love letter to radio, and it's also just high-effort nonsense. Check it the hell out.
Look - are there better weeks to launch a comedy podcast? Probably. But it's 2025, and we make do with what we have, so for now, all I can say is this: we worked really hard to make something that felt like a *comedy show* - not just a hangout podcast, or a bit of standup, but an honest-to-god show.
