It's not really emphasized in the docs (it's very easy to overlook), but Homebrew does work on Linux. I use it regularly to manage Go (and many other tools) on my Linux machines, and the package versions stay fairly close to the official releases.
Extra credit for breaking down the task into substeps and ticking off each one of them.
please donβt take being healthy for granted.
Why do so many forms skip the chance to let people share their thoughts? Itβs a small gesture that shows you care, helps avoid confusion, and could save time laterβyet itβs not as common as I would have expected.
There is also Brave: built-in ad blocker, chromium-based, open-source.
Just a heads-up: It nudges users towards some crypto/NFT stuff and includes some telemetry, but these can be disabled.
Right now it's my 2nd favorite below Zen (despite Zen's bugs). That said, I'm planning to check out Thorium.
You think you're an introvert because you like being alone. But in reality you just love being at peace. And you're actually extroverted around people who bring you peace.
If it was unintentional, then clarify and acknowledge.
At least with this tool, you can use your RSS/Atom feed reader to make them easier to manage. It's source available, free, and self-hostable, btw.
Alternatively, you can use unique aliases + email filters for each newsletter (which is what I currently do, but it's somewhat convoluted).
If someone could do something about this, that would be great. Oh waitβ
thatβs a version of you 10 years from now BEGGING you to enjoy "RIGHT NOW" a little more
Happy Birthday! ππ
Seems a bit self-indulgent, donβt you think?
Screenshot of a Bluesky post displayed using the img2sixel tool in the Konsole terminal, which is the native terminal shipped by default in many KDE-based Linux distributions. This proves that there are operating systems that ship a default terminal with native image rendering capabilities.
π€βοΈ Ackchyually, if one considers (for example) KDE-based Linux distros, there are at least a few that ship a default terminal with native image rendering capabilities.
For devs: Mouseless cross-platform input for emojis and other weird symbols via memorable shorthands without leaving the CLI.
I've seen some projects that use a progress bar in the language selection menu (% translated).
PSA: Burnout can happen even when you're doing something you love or are passionate about. It can be very sneaky, and one of the signs is getting tired of things you usually enjoy. Ask me how I know.
At least they never thought about blocking the links themselves, right? Right?
Some individuals are "Team squeal" π΅βπ«... I wonder if there are more variations...
A comic made by Work Chronicles. First panel: A dad and his son are sitting across from each other on chairs in a room. The dad has a neutral expression and is speaking to his son, who looks confused but attentive. - Dad: "You know I think of you as family." - Son: "I'm your son. We're really a family!" Second panel: The dad looks slightly serious, while the son looks slightly annoyed. - Dad: "Last year, you were my best resource." - Son: "Dad, stop calling me a resource." Third panel: The dad is now sitting with a disappointed expression, while the son looks slightly confused. - Dad: "Unfortunately, you did not meet my expectations this year." - Son: "Why am I getting a performance review, dad?" Fourth panel: The son is standing at the door outside of the house, holding a small box with his belongings. He has a sad, confused expression. - Son: "Dad?"
