The contents of the mystery box! A plushie of a teal worm-like creature labeled "Silkworm", a hat which reads ESCAPE WILL MAKE ME GOD, a bag containing a T-shirt, a key-cap (whose packaging reads ESCAPE WILL MAKE ME GOD), a brushed metal card, a pink gachapon capsule. There's a card included as well, reading "Prep your shells, there's gonna be a push".

The gachapon's contents. The pink capsule contained a sticker with the face of KAAL1, a robotic cat. A keychain also depicts KAAL1's face. yeah, they added Solid fuckin Snake to R6 Siege in the most recent update. which feels absolutely deranged to me. i think sam fisher is also there now

likewise! less hours in D1 (i joined around TTK), probably a few hundred? but had about 300 on D2 PS4 from launch, 600 or so on bnet, and 2500 on Steam. very special game to me

ive heard doing your basics (like shaded cubes, spheres, etc) is a good way to warm up and start thinking with volumes

ideally, if they keep the expansion model they switch to an approach similar to FFXIV; you only need to buy the current expansion and you get access to all of the previous expansions with it.

Committing to no required DLC or expansion packs in the first paragraph is HUGE, and a big contrast to Destiny 2. gotta read the rest but I like this very much so far. does make me wonder how Bungie will approach expansions and stuff in D2 soon though?

definitely prefer direct email. Stuff like Keymailer and PressEngine is nice but truly it adds extra steps to getting to try something, especially if you have to then request it and wait for that to be approved as part of the process. I get that it’s likely to combat resellers, but still annoying.

I disagree with your position as well, but respect your right and understand the rationale leading you there.

If you want to discuss further, feel free to email me. My thought process can be disjointed, but I’m happy to answer good faith questions. I hope I at least gave you something to think on.

I believe, and know from my work with my community, creating a strong position will reenergise those who have been left behind and those who saw no material difference to their conditions. I get that’s uncomfortable but it’s better than slowly bleeding out voters and confidence.

I feel like we need to place the blame where it lies properly: with the institutions that aren’t providing meaningful alternatives. If we accept candidates that compromise those values, then we have already admitted loss, and have less opportunity for meaningful change, even from within.

I know that the two party system in its current form is ride or die, and I believe many more folks have chosen to not vote entirely because they see the same outcomes with no change, but that’s not their fault.
