I recorded most of my first run for a @vgutv.bsky.social video you'll see later, likely next week. But it went for about 90 minutes straight. So excited to keep digging now that I have new abilities, cards, potions, and characters to play with next time. They still got it!

A lot of interesting new abilities and modifiers, a lot more risk and reward with sacrificing immediate convenience for bigger rewards later. And the meta progression overall is way more compelling and easier for me to understand. I will be playing this for many year, and I can't wait to do so!

Idk, Im sure there are people who will gladly compare these apples and oranges but to me it just feels like an acknowledgement of a Doom Eternal/ Animal Crossing style same day release and how both of those different audiences are excited for their game. I might be in the minority tho
