I do deeply love the worldbuilding and the magic system is honestly second to none.
However I do have some complaints with the melee combat in that while I understand what Jordan is doing using movement names instead of describing actions, it does sometimes leave a lot to the imagination.

There are 14. There are 14 mainline god damn wheel of time books and one prequel.
Just, an absurd amount of reading they're all like 800 pages.
I hate this series and I love it, and I loathe it and I think it's one of the best fantasy series ever written.

Six years ago I stopped reading The Wheel of Time at book 11, right after the 'slog' books.
Now after watching like 5 god damn hours of recaps, because I remember nothing apparently, I'm starting book 11 again. I have too much time invested in this series I'm going to get to the end damnit.
