Remembering Eartha Kitt on her birthday ... I was lucky enough to spend a full day with her until the late, late night once. She was brilliant, beautiful, warm, thoroughly kind and delightful. A day I'll never forget.
It's a gorgeous set. This was published pre-internet, I think the pages are available online now, but it just seems right to have it saved in books.
It's Emily Dickinson's birthday today, December 10, 1830. This magnificent 2-volume edition from Belknap-Harvard is all of her poems in her own penmanship, including scraps of her corrections, gathered and photographed. Wherever I go, these go with me.
Israel is home to some of the sickest people on Earth but the US has Israel beat.
“If it was up to me, I wouldn’t just send them on the way, make sure that there are concentration camps that will also burn them.”

Donald J. Trump 0 ® @realDonald Trump f the Nigerian Government continues to allow the killing of Christians, the U.S.A. wil mmediately stop all aid and assistance to Vigeria, and may very well go into that now disgraced country, "guns-a-blazing," to completely wipe out the Islamic Terrorists who are committing these horrible atrocities. I am hereby instructing our Department of War to prepare for possible action. If we attack, it will be fast, vicious, and sweet, just like the terrorist thugs attack our CHERISHED Christians! NARNING: THE NIGERIAN GOVERNMENT BETTER MOVE FAST! 723 ReTruths 2.52k Likes 11/1/25, 11:43 PM
Trump says “Christians” as he starves 42 million Americans for the fkn rich.
To these no real job having exploiters #religion is just another tool for #imperialism and #capitalism.
There is no such thing as Jesus Christ in the GOP.
That’s clear.
In fact I’d postulate it’s the opposite.
In today’s news, Israel’s stupid fucking genocidal rapists ran over an unexploded ordnance from their own evil carpet bombing campaign, blamed Hamas, started fucking bombing Gaza again, killed scores of civilians, and then quietly backed down on urging from Washington.

Lowkey on the lies of Israel and the US. We can't believe anything they say about Gaza.
This happened 6 months before the October 7 Hamas attack.
“With children sleeping inside, lsraeli colonial settlers torch a Palestinian-owned house in Sinjil village, north of Ramallah.”
Omg
“The National Education Association, the largest teachers union in the United States, has sent its roughly three million members an email that contains a map of historic Palestine, with no mention of Israel, New York Post reports.”

This happened over a year before the October 7 Hamas attack.
“April 2022 – Jerusalem:
Israeli occupation forces assault a Palestinian father in front of his child inside Al-Aqsa Mosque.
A painful glimpse into the daily brutality Palestinians endure, even in one of the holiest sites on earth.”
Israel’s top officials are openly declaring that they intend to terminate the Gaza ceasefire after they get their hostages back.

Tends to happen when you know there's no future.
"Among adolescents and young adults, the largest increase in deaths over the past decade or so was among those ages 20 to 39 in high-income North America, mainly due to suicide, drug overdose and high quantities of alcohol"
This might be unkind to say, but lit magazines demand "nothing by AI," when the poetry they choose all too often reads like AI hallucinating. Poetry should communicate, not bewilder.
Thank you so much!
Two poems in the debut issue of LUMINAURA Magazine: "A New Life" luminauramag.com/vol1/poetry/... and "Something New" luminauramag.com/vol1/poetry/... — both on the magazine's theme: "Genesis." The editors did a bang-up job.

My poem, "Dot," has been published in PROSETRICS: THE LITERARY MAGAZINE out of Amsterdam. The theme was "whelve," which means, "to turn (as a dish or vessel) upside down usually to cover something."
Or you could actually be the party of Democrats & embrace the ideas, ideals, & social policies that FDR supported. Ask yourself this; why is Bernie the ONLY Democrat in the last 75+ years to run on "FDR's 2nd"?
Look, Dems MUST go left. Chase the votes of indy progressives & Socialists. Win 🏁 🗳️
