Checking an LLM's work is a systemic, not an individual, problem. Only a culture of design critique can prevent sloppy AI-generated problem definitions.

People tell me that AI code is fine, because you can run automatic tests. But tests can only tell you if code is doing the thing you want it to do.

To know what it SHOULD do, we used to have requirements. But now requirements are themselves vibe-coded slopotypes.

The result: waste and risk.

If you are doing hours of work in minutes, then you are not reviewing anything and not putting any thoughts or expertise in it

Tech bros keep saying “It looks like this generative AI is conscious!” But there’s no evidence that they have any kind of real intelligence. And the AI probably doesn’t, either.

AI is not inevitable. If we had sane people in government that were not in thrall to billionaire tech CEOs, LLMs could be regulated, forced to obey existing copyright laws, and banned from places where their use is inappropriate, such as college classes. This should be a moderate position.

So much BS. LLMs are doomed to always converge on this type of discussion where they want to end humankind. This is what is always written in scifi literature, so not surprising at all. They just spit it out. No sign of intelligence
