A lot cooler, as you’re getting the back end of summer so I’d say it’s probably the last real time to do it before the chill starts to come in! Be sunny mostly maybe some rain here and there, but it is the U.K. after all, very unpredictable.

6) Early start. Walk number 7 of 2025 (11/02/25), out on Portgate to Heavenfield section of Hadrian's Wall Path National Trail. Met up with, and had another long chat with Gary and Jonny Trail Rangers. No walkers out on the Trail, so still have my four hand-painted Acorns to give away for February.
