Let Mello/Melfest begin!

Finally watched all of Melfest from last night. What a final line up. Looking forward to returning to Stockholm on Friday.

Yes clearly a one horse race. Mind you if Erika could have entered that new track - Father. Umm.

As much as I enjoy Fire, Black Glitter should have made it. Too good for ESC this year perhaps. We’ve seen Fire so many times now. Safe.

So after 8 days on the new me diet I’ve lost 2.9kg. Eating two meals a day. Getting around 90g of protein with a 800 daily calorie deficit. Not bad for a fully vegan diet too. Some of my very filling meals. TVP arriving this week - so I’ve got to experiment with more new food options.

Off to a fab start.

Just some of our meals this week. I’m fasting 17 hours a day. Two meals only. And in a calorie deficit of around 800/1000 a day. Trying to get the protein up.

So my weight has been fluctuating. A lot. In 16 years I’ve gain 60lbs. Back in 2011 I was running half marathons. Enough. So last month I spoke to my doctor, did lots of bloods. Found out I’m deficient in Vit D. Have a dietitian & in a weight loss clinic & have a therapist. Diet started last week.

Fantastic. I take the flu vaccine every year.

Okay the energy isn’t that high in the ORF studio. But deeply appreciating the digital content in English online. Better than a postcard during commercial break.

I’m on vacation but had a sick day yesterday. A migrate which floored me for a while. I open LinkedIn today and I’m met with an advert for migrate treatment.

That was a very fast week in Minneapolis with work. Zero jet lag as I kept to my usual Irish hours, bed between 4am and 5am and up for 10am. Which in MN meant bed for 11pm and awake by 4am. It was perfect. Now it’s time to head home. Decided to upgrade to business using Avios.
