Great intervention by @jwmueller-pu.bsky.social on reactionary centrism, anti-wokeness, and the tendency to interpret the success of the right as backlash instead of as its own political project

Closing out my year with a journal editor shocker 🧵
Checking new manuscripts today I reviewed a paper attributing 2 papers to me I did not write. A daft thing for an author to do of course. But intrigued I web searched up one of the titles and that's when it got real weird...
Gefeliciteerd!
Today, higher education in NL takes to the streets once again to fight against budget cuts and for science, education, critical thinking and solidarity.

I am currently teaching Qualitative Research Methods to our 2nd Bachelor students in The Hague and it turns out they are memeing the lectures. This made my day!

(26 juni 2025)
Are you conducting research combining qualitative cross-case methods (comparative case studies or QCA) with process tracing? ➡️ ** We are looking to show-case your work** ⬅️

Thanks, we know their chapter! We are really looking for practical work to showcase how the PT-QCA combination can work in practice.
Thanks, not directly with this question. We are hoping to unearth some new, contemporary examples that are not yet discussed in the methodological literature.
So, if you conduct research like this yourself, or if you know a colleague to whom this applies, please get in touch using DM (or send either of us an email)! 5/5
The work can by either inductive or deductive, start from PT or start from the cross-case; we want to get to know it all. 4/
More specifically, we are looking to show-case work that combines comparative case studies (CCS) or Qualitative Comparative Analysis (QCA) on the one hand, with Process Tracing (PT) on the other. 3/
For a book manuscript, Uncovering Causal Symptoms. Case Study Research, Process Tracing, and Qualitative Comparative Analysis, @patrickmello.bsky.social and I are looking for good (preferably published) work that combines cross-case with within-case analysis. 2/
