Just read @cooraysmith.bsky.social's Silver Nemesis @blackarchive.co.uk . Full of interesting detail about the scripting and recording and a robust defence of the story.
So, for reasons best known to its useless AI mods, Facebook has deleted the Obverse Books page, and removed all 1000+ followers. We've created a new page, so if you're on FB and want to keep up with Obverse news there, rather than here, this is the new link:

Join@Kenny Smith as he chats to Archive editor @purserhallard.com about the latest Black Archive on THE ARK!
soundcloud.com/powerof3pod/...
Available to pre-order now - the 81st Black Archive, as @purserhallard.com examines THE ARK.
Famously comprising two virtually distinct stories set hundreds of years apart, THE ARK owes a debt to the more literary end of the science fiction spectrum - and also has the most mysterious author.
Goodness, we've only done four of these as Black Archives!
Call for submissions!
We'd like to expand the diversity of our Archive authors, and are looking for proposals for any available story from anyone meeting the criteria of being disabled or a person of colour.

"a single person of this demographic may have committed a crime, therefore we must punish the entire demographic" is a policy response you may recognize from fascist governments dedicated to ethnic cleansing elsewhere.
In response to a question I was asked yesterday, the official Black Archive policy on AI is: "Raston Warrior Robots will have to pry the manuscripts out of our cold, dead hands before AI is used in any aspect of creating the Black Archives."
No Form of AI has been used in the creation of this book.
It says it right there in the books:
With a cover by Cody Schell, using Blair Bidmead's splendid crystal icon!
It'll be a decade next year since we started!
Black Archive #80 - MAWDRYN UNDEAD!
A second Archive from Kara Dennison, covering 1983's wonderful time travel paradox story. Two Brigs, one treacherous new companion, David Collings with his brain on the outside of his head and Valentine Dyall with a dead crow on his - what's not to love?
Black Archive covers are all done by Cody Schell using icons created by @blairbidmead.bsky.social, which is why they are always awesome.
πNEW EPISODE!π
We're delighted to be joined by writer Jez Strickley, as we look at the latest #DoctorWho Black Archive release from @obversebooks.co.uk.

Good point, well made.
Sadly, sometimes authors other commitments (the ones that pay the bills!) mean that books need to be pushed back in the schedules...
First day in @pandasbooksrecords.bsky.social was fantastic!
Wait until we do Black Archive 153: Silver Nemesis Special Edition!
