The #GiveToGain '.com' site is run by a private limited company with no apparent links to the UNWomen's campaign or feminist movement
They unilaterally decide a theme. It's different to the UNWomen's campaign
They seem to profit from the merch they sell

With #InternationalWomensDay coming up, please be aware the UN theme is Rights Justice Action (not Give to Gain).

A pattern stitched onto fabric, its like a square, made up of angular lines jutting out at both sides of the square.
A stitched pattern, it is circular pattern with 'branches' going round the outside and side of the circle.
We had a creative time making trees and tree patterns in @turtlestitch.bsky.social at #Fosdem
There are two more workshops for young people tomorrow at #fosdemjunior - creating critters and flowers and stars.

Because it can get very hot in the workshop rooms during @fosdem.org Junior, I made a little MIT App Inventor app that is receiving data from a databot sending the CO2 level, temperature and humidity every 10 seconds. I used @microblocks.bsky.social to program the databot.
Yeah, 20 new 8-bit pixel emojis have been added to CoCube using @microblocks.bsky.social, and the display scale can be set!ππππ€©π€―π₯Άπ₯΅
I believe that with these anthropomorphic emojis, children can have more willingness to express and create!

A small Christmas tree sitting on a window sill. On the tree is a star, two tiny knitted ganseys and beaded pie and dna helix.
Wishing everyone a lovely Christmas break!
We made our own tree decorations during the first Covid Christmas lockdown, a crocheted star, a beaded DNA helix & pi, and tiny knitted ganseys. Itβs always nice to see them again at this time of year.

Shows a sunrise taking place on Warwick Campus. The sunrise is seen through trees, and there is a path in the front of the trees. The sky has a range of colours from yellow, pink through to purple.
This morningβs sunrise on the Warwick campus was a truly beautiful and immersive experience, as the sky erupted in a riot of colours. Simply breath taking!

Thanks Glenn, its an interesting article. For computing education it's about using the right tools for the job in hand, and fully understanding what that job actually is.

Hope everyone else is having a great time at #tmip25. One thing I love is how much of the discussion on the hashtag is about the mathematical music last night, and the mathematical art on display - proof if it were needed that creativity and mathematics go hand in hand
