They are rapidly breaking down into ink. Probably take a week or so and then can strain it and use.
Shaggy ink caps in a jar, you just leave them in the jar for a while and they decompose into a somewhat malodorous ink
Collected these shaggy ink caps today to turn into ink
so... I got some Gen3 NVG, which is excellent for finding the cat at night.
I'm now looking at a COTI to extend my ability to locate the cat at night when she is using cover and concealment.
