When I grew up in the 80s, I always thought that's what it would be like for racism, sexism or religiosity... That it would all pass by the time I'd grow up...
I had a weird #gamejam idea: Surfer Farm. Top-down pixel view of beach-side waves where you "farm" surfers by influencing waves, rocks and other beach features, causing more or fewer surfers to sit on their boards waiting for waves. The surfers are the "crop", and it's a cozy farming game.
In me here are two ADHD wolves at war.
One says:
"You wasted all day, and now you have to do a day's worth of work in half an hour!"
The other says:
"You only have half an hour left anyway. Might as well play a quick game round!"
Joining this wonderful team to bring some of my SudokuPad UX experience to more puzzles!
The last two nights I woke up with words in my mind:
Night 1: "Pump up the jam, I like the way I am"
Night 2: "Isomer-rendered cyclene engine"

Go to bed at 23:00... Sleep for 5 hours and get up at 9:00. A good night by my standards...

16-bit aesthetics feel so strange to me as I programmed hard in asm in the 90s in 8-bit styles, then skipped to the 2010s, and never really experienced that era!

At some intervals I completely forget that my dog is a dog and am, quite roughly, shocked back to that reality by suddenly realizing his nose is REALLY long for a person, or that he has dense hair, like EVERYWHERE! Or that his toenails are curved and thicker than my own!
It's really quite jarring.
