Seems like the BOM-generation is omnipresent, and intentional due to Visual Studio limitations. Kinda sad panda for us non-VS programmers.

Issue with file-based apps: the sdk changes the encoding of the file and destorys the shebang support :/

Now you need to never rename your workflow files, though.
Nice. Need to avoid sharing pulumi stack resources for dev, tho. Same as one does not share resources locally when Aspiring.
Any drawing board stuff on _how_ a Pulumi integration would/could look like for Aspire? I'm using Aspire and Pulumi for a project, and interested in how you see them working together.
My setup is I glue them together using Pulumi outputs
1) pulumi up => infra resource
2) deploy app onto output
Pulumi supports 300 providers. AWS, Google, Azure, k8s being the main ones, but still. Is the aim for Aspire to be on par or leave it to the community to provide the "fringe" ones?

Btw, spaceinvaders.cs does not work via stdin. Is that a bug/limitation, or something particular with the game?
```
curl raw.githubusercontent.com/DamianEdward... | dotnet run -
Unhandled exception. System.InvalidOperationException:
```
Works fine via local file.
Until I can write an apphost in any language, not sure Iβd view Aspire itself polyglot.
Aspire: C# SDK, .NET, target Azure.
Pulumi: All modern languages, target all clouds.
Found the Directory.Build.props workaround, so that's at least one way of doing it, albeit a bit janky.

Better file support coming in .NET 11 then, I guess. Good!
Nice prezo in .NET conf on this topic! You mentioned there are some caveats. Care to expand on that?
AOT being the default hit me (popular libraries using reflection) after 2 minutes :D
Also, is referencing files using ignore-directives on the roadmap? #:file someotherfile.cs
great job @philco.bsky.social , i assume this My Little Content Engine?
really nice og:image to go with it as well :) effort into details

Hva skjer med dette grepet fra NRK?
empathy level:0
arrogance level: 100
good luck, David!
must be some sort of diagnosis, tbh π¬
itβs the same arrogant vibe in github
hey, youβre the one bringing events 20 years back as an excuse for your companys lack of communications skills. maybe clean your own house, buddy
> finally delivering Anders original vision
gives Keir vibes
so the 20 odd years that followed is not worth a mention, because Anders got dibs? π
pardon my recency bias, but that's just a weird take.
forget the thanks, I mean, even the _acknowledgement_ of others existence would suffice at this point.

I was expecting that to be the intro for Damians talk :D it looks purposely hushed down when you fail to even mention it with a _single_ sentence.
Yeah, same thing with ASP.NET Core endpoints. Wonder if it will converge at some point, or have some bindings.

@raycast.com needs an update
I gathered there are some extra work to it, but skipping the `run` argument would have aligned this better with others.
how many newcomers are going to do `dotnet file.cs` and get an error now..?
go on
expecting the world to stand still for a *decade* , yeah good luck
