Do as Harald says. Present! There's nothing that improves your code quality as much as explaining your ideas to a diverse group of geeks. I know my programming skills have improved a lot in the 10 (yikes!) years since I first stood on the stage at @SwedenCpp Stockholm.

It's better to have an environment where people feel safe to say "sorry, I screwed up", than to have people try to hide it.
Why? Because every mistake is one we can learn from, and if the learning opportunities are kept away, we won't improve.

I don't believe I've worn that much ever, but I remember walking to school at approx -40 for a bit more than week. Not a long walk, roughly 1km. I once didn't have my scarf high enough over my face, and the eyelids briefly froze when I blinked. Easy fix, though.
I find their job tips hilarious. The best ones so far are "great experience match" for "freelance Swahili translator" and "internship as a beauty shop decoration designer".
