A screenshot of macOS terminal showing a test suite summary for Elena.
Been recently really enjoying working with Vitest tbh (both for client’s design system and also for my personal projects).
I’m just nerding out over the terminal colors at this point tho
📘 Looking forward to @storybook.js.org moving towards official @vite.dev support for @angular.dev

Congrats to @npmx.dev on launching their alpha!
We share the same vision: making JavaScript developers more productive.
They chose to build on the VoidZero toolchain, and their feedback has already shipped real performance improvements back to the community.
This is open source at its best.
The <Suspense> is over.
Solid 2.0 Beta is now released (next tag on npm). 🎉

If you're learning how to create accessible and performant websites, check out repo.npmx.dev. It's a carefully crafted @vite.dev open-source site. And they are a very welcoming community that can help you make your first open-source contributions if you'd like to get involved 💜

Ported the @astro.build content layer APIs to a static @vite.dev plugin for React Server Components tonight 🤠 Supports data collections, arbitrary async loaders, and renders Markdown & MDX files as server components. Once I put it through its paces, I'll release a package.
Just released Waku ⛩️ v1.0.0-alpha.5!
Waku is a React framework built for React Server Components. Getting closer to v1 and your feedback is important to get there!

Git Truck v3 is officially out! 🚛💨
Here’s a summary of what’s new:
🚀 Rebuilt repository browser (it’s fast!)

⚡️ Now powered by @vite.dev
🛡️ Securely publishing with npm provenance
The truck is running smoother than ever. Try it now:
npx -y git-truck@latest
One of these days, I won't be able to keep up with the amazing @astro.build community... but I live to fight another month!

vite is so fast, time paradoxes were bound to happen
Hey there 👋
I’m very excited to announce that starting next week, I’ll be joining @chromatic.com and the @storybook.js.org team full-time as a Senior Software Engineer !🥳🥳🥳
I’m looking forward to working with the team to make Storybook even better 😄
SvelteKit 2 now fully supports Vite 8
SvelteKit 3 will require it - giving additional optimizations and functionality. E.g. SvelteKit 3 will use @rolldown.rs hook filters to spend more compilation time in rust and less in JavaScript. And SvelteKit 3 adapters use only rolldown without esbuild
thanks @evanyou.me, @thealexlichter.com, and the rest of the VoidZero team for sponsoring us 🙏
truly appreciated! returning a bit of the gesture, we're seeing so many messages from people in the npmx team throwing flowers to the vite stack (biased here, ha, but these are truly unprompted) 😉
I published npmx.dev/package/oxc-... for webpack.
This is useful if you are still using webpack, or wants to migrate to Vite 8 / Rolldown in smaller steps.
Built on top of @vite.dev 8 and @rolldown.rs.
RSC support via Vite's RSC plugin.
Linting via Oxlint.
📝 What if your @analogjs.org app/site could pull content from any headless CMS at build time—without changing a single component? Here's how with @angular.dev a @vite.dev plugin, and custom content loaders.

Dang @vite.dev 8 is fast. Incredible work!
delighted to see that the Austrian website for @eurovision.tv for ORF (the national public broadcaster) is going to be powered by @nuxt.com 🇪🇺🇦🇹😊
Angular hit 100k stars on GitHub :)
That’s a great milestone!

Last two weeks alone...
And that's only the stuff I notice.
SvelteKit just added support for @vite.dev 8 and introduced error boundaries on the server (!?).
13 Svelte releases and 3 SvelteKit releases this month so far.
@vite.dev for @kotlinlang.org 0.8.2 now supports Kotlin 2.3.0!
We've also made a few improvements to the UX of the website.
vite-kotlin.opensavvy.dev/news/2026/02...
Started up a little new project and (why not - it's pre-prod) I decided to give @vite.dev 8 (and @voidzero.dev's Rolldown) a spin...
DAMN THAT'S FAST!
Can't wait for a final release so I can justify pushing it everywhere at work...
Vitest 4.1 is on the horizon, but we're already looking ahead! What are your main pain points in your testing workflow right now?
Let us know in the Vitest 5 discussion thread!
We're measuring the performance of all the popular meta frameworks. If you're interested, come help out! 🙏
I love this. Don't get boxed into a single POV. Every major framework is now at a polish level that we couldn't have dreamed about 5 years ago. Go also try SvelteKit, SolidStart, TanStack Start, Analog, and so many others! Each of them will inspire new ideas, and help you with the one you use now
Why did adding ONE component make your build drastically slower?
The answer is often: Barrel files.
Luckily, you can enable Lazy Barrel Optimization in @vite.dev 8 and @rolldown.rs do bring your build time back to normal.
