I LOVE how @mysk.bsky.social thought of every little detail based on evidence from their research over the years. It's attention to detail like this that truly makes Psylo a step above the rest for privacy & security.

They do and it's so dumb. Yes "anyone can edit" but edits are heavily scrutinized and require sources. The teachers prefer you cite a random blog on the internet before Wikipedia. Doesn't make any sense.
The risk of a third-party suddenly ripping out their API is what holds me back from some fun projects. Glad to see all hope is not lost on the fitness side!
Probably could have fit more on the wings
Now I hook up a Mac to my TV with the Hue Sync app. Much better experience - I can run the @brave.com browser to block ads on YouTube and easily access local media. Plus don't have to deal with crappy Smart TV interfaces/apps, accessing everything through the web.
Mozilla receives most of their money from Google, and is now abusing your personal data for ad monetization. Firefox is no better than Chrome
DDG just sources its results from big tech.
Please consider @brave.com
search & browser, Mullvad browser, anything other than Firefox

This is an excellent analysis of the various misleading claims made today. Nice to see the actual facts, statistics, and court cases. Great work @lizdye.bsky.social and @legaleagle.bsky.social.
Why are you trying to repeal section 230??
Help recommend my next game to play! I don't have much free time so I need to pick strategically since I only can play 1-2 a year. These are the ones I have:
- Mass Effect
- Resident Evil
- Bioshock
- Witcher 3
- Final Fantasy

Instead of eating, it's now killing: They're killing the dogs. They're killing the cats. They're killing the pets of the people that live there.
Not related to credit freezes. Sounds like you need to be careful where you are entering your card numbers. Use virtual account numbers when possible. privacy.com might be a good service for you.
Not at all. A credit freeze prevents new lines of credit from being opened in your name. A huge way to prevent identity theft. Regardless of who has your SSN (it's probably already leaked somewhere). Just freeze your credit. Do not delay.
Experian, for example, lets you pay them to "lock" your credit. It's stupid. Don't do that. Just freeze your credit with the three bureaus. Freezing your credit is free. www.usa.gov/credit-freeze
Updates that break a working system overnight, run by a billionaire, and full of cybersecurity vulnerabilities.
This is a huge first step against the invasive Flock cameras! Let's hope for a victory in this case which has national effects. I see these Flock cameras everywhere I go now and it is extremely concerning. Thanks @timcushing.bsky.social for your excellent reporting.

What are your opinions on the Apple Card savings account? Currently 3.9% and easy to move money in and out.
I hear this from friends too much! Big refunds are NOT good!
@troyhunt.com I have seen your claims against calling this a cyber attack / breach. Would welcome your thoughts after reading this TechDirt article.
This aged poorly

Wow, this would be a great feature!
I recommend adding some Teflon
Just a slap on the wrist
If the nonprofit really does need money to keep the lights on, a desperate donation plea is warranted.
Not what Wikimedia is doing. They have hundreds of millions. Way more than the cost to run the site. They can still accept donations but not make it sound like they're about to shut down.
I recommend watching the fern video.
For sure they should have money to build the service, but their infrastructure costs are a tiny fraction. They use scare tactics to collect donations. And the actual editors are unpaid volunteers.
They should start by toning down the scary donation pleas.
Do NOT! The Wikimedia foundation has hundreds of millions of cash on hand. They fear monger into collecting donations like they are about to shut down due to lack of funding.

1) irrelevant 2) physical security is the least of your concerns 3) what does age have to do with it? 4) yikes, I've -never- been in accident so no need for a seatbelt! 5) even the most careful people can be hacked 6) you could get a local, offline manager.
Anything is better than a plaintext file
Try to create a username and password and then de-associate your Google/Facebook account from your account settings. Worst case you need to delete the account and make a new one.
