My guess is that none of that is the point. The point is likely that he somehow manages to easily funnel all this tariff income to be under his control to be spent on what he wants or redirected to his personal wealth. Both its source and where it is 'promised' to be spent are immaterial.

I don't have that problem with Perplexity. I find it to be very good as a summarizing search engine and it never acts chummy like ChatGPT. You may find it worth a try.

What I took from this story is that they *spent* huge amounts of money into the US economy, supporting local businesses and people. It wasn't just lit on fire. Reminds me of the millions spent *in* the US to manufacture and send supplies to other countries and people think all the $ left the country
