Is your IT team spending more time firefighting application issues than driving strategic initiatives? It's time for a change.
@rorymon.com breaks down how to shift to a proactive model: slash helpdesk tickets, boost employee output, and empower your team for strategic work. 👇
I haven’t had time to post because everything I blink there is a news development in the Anthropic V. Pentagon story. Today, the Defense Department took the unprecedented step of declaring Anthropic a supply chain risk for not capitulating to their demands:

That is an amazing idea for a Black Mirror episode.
Could use AI to flag when employees work too long without a break or when they are scheduled less than 8 hours after a previous shift or for the general betterment of the staff but no, this is the shit they come up with.
Same here. It seems to be a bit of a slow build here. May not be the worst thing to spend less time on these platforms anyway.
@larrylarmeu.bsky.social hello! Delighted to see your name pop up again. Hope you are well.

The next AI thingy to check is if I take a script and feed it to AI with sample tracks can it clone my voice and produce an audio version of the script that is useable. Even if it can, I am not sure I would use it. I am a little weary of trying. I don't my recordings use by others.
It could be a workflow that AI is not suited to. If I have to review every line of the script it generates and cross check with the source material it doesn't save time and I feel AI will always require oversight. It is useful for fact checking across multiple sources at least. Saves time on that.
I will say for ChatGPT it definitely mimics the structure I use which is more than I can say for the rest but it creates a word salad in parts, doesn't use correct industry terms and at one point interjected an opinion about an article on AI that was not even in line with the topic of the article.
I saw the post below and immediately thought about the William Shatner Secrets segment from Late Night with Conan O'Brien.

For my 3rd time in 18 months, I attempted to feed some GenAI platforms a long form sample podcast episode script from a previous episode and links to stories I wish to cover on this week's episode in the hopes it can generate a usable script but nope...they still deliver a load of shite.
My fave thing about this is they used the vuln to break into.. Ivanti.
