An undead and skeletal dinosaur fossil, reminiscent of a stegasaurus or ankylosaurus. It's jaw is open in a roar, baring sharp teeth. Spikes of pyrite crystals run down its spine and protrude from the sides of it's tail. The bones are the color of fool's gold and have cubic protrusions and bumps where the pyrite has taken over.
George sent me the colors for a new Huckleberry monster this morning and I just had to share the magic with y'all. Created by @erenahn.bsky.social for our upcoming scenario "Magnum Opus", this is a dinosaur fossil that's been reanimated by parasitic pyrite. What a great combination of words, right?

(mostly telling this to myself) It's okay to spend time on frivolity. It's essential to keep making things, to keep writing, drawing, painting, playing, creating. Art is resistance. I don't know if this is 100% true, but I hope it's true. I believe it to be true.
Last, if you want to see Rascal survive; if you want more investigative reporting, more security for our small team, and more articles that celebrate TTRPGs, any level of support helps. Our investigative work is our pride and joy but it takes time, resources, and energy. Thank you again.
