one of the funny truths you learn if you write in the cross-genre romance space is that people who don't like the sex will hallucinate massive amounts of it in your book, and people who wanted more sex will be able to estimate an exact sex word count within like 75 words.

In the last 72 hours my brain provided me the plot of a fully fledged cozy romance novella, so that is where I am at with the state of the world right now

Today I (finally) wrote a scene I have been fighting to write for almost a year. All I had to do was change character POV! Funny how that works out....

Another day of being chronically ill, another day of indifference from doctors who seem fit to be trying to kill me....again.

Oh yeah, I managed to prepare a newsletter and a blog post while at Katsu. Go meeee 🎉 but I'm genuinely afraid they might be my last for quite some time. 🫠

We are, for the record, well on our way there.

Once again, I find myself praying I can make it to a doctors appointment with an immunologist. Is this immunologist going to get me what I need? Likely not.

We will see how long it takes until I get so reactive I can't eat again. 🫠

I have been very ill the last few days because of the ill-advised medication taper my doctors have forced me on.
