If it really happens I suggest Tudyk plays Jayne now and nobody even references anything about the casting swap.
Screenshot of Apple ScreenTime widget, showing 25h 44m. Tracking shows a graph of hourly bars, some of which go beyond, 2 hours per hour, and it is just past 4pm. Final text reads: Productivity & Finance 4h 6m, Social 3h 8m, and Utilities 50m.
My ScreenTime tracking is so drunk. Or Iβve found a way to triple my space-time before afternoon tea.
It is weird that the only vibrant colour is this one. I kinda thought weβd get more bright colours but itβs the usual muted tones andβ¦ this.
I often use fast.com these days because itβs on Netflix infra so itβs a pretty good real world indicator and itβs SOOO much cleaner to look at for a quick βis this connection OK?β test.
Cartoon titled "know the work rules". The first panel, labeled "appropriate" depicts Garfield the cat in a business suit leaning around the edge of a cubicle and pointing to a woman at her desk while saying, "coffee lasagna Mondays am I right?" to which the woman responds, hands clasped together, "awww you're so funny" The second panel, labeled "inappropriate", depicts a far side cow leaning around the edge of the same cubicle and speaking with a word bubble which contains only the shapes of the 4 cow tools. The woman fearfully picks up the Phone and says, "hello , complaint department??!"

I'm teaching an opinion writing workshop next Tuesday. The workshop includes a one on one follow up Zoom where I help develop and edit a column, which is why it's priced at $350. But if you JUST want to attend the workshop, you can now audit for $100. www.elizabethspiers.com/workshops/

This colour palette is wild.
In May '25, a beloved Australian games website was sold off. It went dark then, a month later, rose from the dead but stuffed full of gambling links and AI authors.
It wasn't the first time, or the last time, this exact thing had happened. And it's still happening.
My months-long investigation π
Iβm still thinking about Albert after you shared that clip. So much of the best of it is the bit players and ensemble team. The journey, not the destination, etcβ¦

Everyone says βwhat the fuck just happened?β on a regular basis in that show. Some people say it in awe and others in frustration. Both pretty legitimate.
βWe are not the sameβ meme, I guess.
I adore it too but it sounds like it will not be your kind of thing.
They talk about their own stuff fairly often but they have all the greatest guests imaginable. Itβs a solid βthese are the kinds of people who should have podcastsβ because they really know their shit and they know everyone and have the respect to get anyone on as a guest.
Yes - John August (writer of Go) and Craig Mazin (writer of comedy sequels before writing Chernobyl) have had a brilliant screenwriting show for about 15 years. They just released the best book on screenwriting ever based on transcripts from the show.
Do you listen to Scriptnotes?
So it should dip for a while, hit an equilibrium and then go harder than the other one? Someone should tell the numbers guy thatβs even BETTER!
Having just been revisiting Liquid Modernity and related texts I am very enamoured with the Emulsified Modernity idea!

You are wrong about Forgotten Realms set. Iβm sure it was definitely very recent.
Felt like it moved off the main pop-up list in October, but maybe I am remembering wrong because time goes faster now I'm old.
Family plan increase felt reasonable (+$1/month). It's been ages since they increased a price (that I can remember).
