a Steam notification saying that i've earned 3 "Chessarama" trading cards, every single one is the same dumbass wearing a blue hat.
guy who sucks and is bad.
notably, the message was actually snuck into the 2009 Ghostbusters game as an easter egg.
a Yumetaro (from Mr. Gimmick) plush and a Slime-San plush having a staring contest.
scrunkly to scrunkly communication.
this was during the period where Miyamoto was trying to shake off the stigma that Mario (& Nintendo in general) was mainly intended for kids.
he also imposed a ban on Mario making a peace sign around the same time.

the flyer in question, featuring Mario kneeling with his cap lying on the ground. the text is a warning to only use official Nintendo disks with the kiosk.
the "Hakama" outfit in Super Mario Odyssey seems to be a reference to this obscure flyer made for the Famicom Disk Writer. #NintendoSwitch

the disk, there's two labels reading "ドット絵" and "クリエイターコンテスト"

do you still have the disk for "Dot E Creator Contest"? or was that something the original owner let you borrow so it could be dumped?

i'm asking because a Japanese youtuber uploaded a video showing what appears to be the disk, and id like to confirm if its legit

i can't believe they're giving this guy his own console.

two of the games he stole from (Cyberblock metal Orange EX & Chip-Chan Kick) at least got official Vinyl releases in response to his antics, approved by the actual artists for those games.

any plans to do similar legal processing on Yusup Dalmaz / MetroVG? That's the Bulgarian guy who's been falsely claiming the soundtracks for TONS of obscure Japanese PC games. illegally obtaining Content ID revenue from them.

ScummVM has had basic support for Macromedia Director (the engine Cookie's Bustle runs on) for a while, so in theory someone COULD use that just for adding the game to Steam/GOG.

the GPL source code license makes it impossible to do console ports however.
Internet post from "SpeedyBlueDude" (he would have been 14 at the time) with nearly identical text aside from California being the location. The big item he acquired is a simple Raichu Pokemon card.

an Animal Crossing house filled with Nintendo Consoles. Victory!
a sad bulltien board post filled with frowning faces, upset that the NES isn't on the island yet.

"Melty Blood: a fighting game where characters from famous novels execute flashy moves."
"However, Arino is in the middle of a game." notably, he's playing as Nero.
....the hell do you mean there's an episode of Game Center CX (Season 9 Episode 4, Zombie Nation) where Arino finds a Melty Blood cabinet during an arcade trip?
A PS5 trophy list for "Ren & Stimpy", the icon features poorly scaled sprites of the main characters over a white background.
the (probably placeholder?) icon for the ren & stimpy happy happy joy joy collection makes it look like a bootleg.
Sackboy wearing a blue shirt that has "Sackboy" written on it.
Glad Sony created a helpful t-shirt so i can know 𝗲𝘅𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗹𝘆 who this character is. #Playstation5 #SackboyABigAdventure

an early menu icon that was also mistakenly left in the Switch port, note how none of the Nintendo logos have been removed.
curious detail about The Disney Afternoon Collection that's become noticeable thanks to the new Switch port.
at one point DE was going to include the NES version of The Little Mermaid, there was a bit of data left over initially. But this new version has the modified ROM.

the Asia Playstation 5 cover art for the new Tokyo Xtreme Racer game, Genki's logo (which is a simple sketch of a human face with 5 strands of hair drawn on top) is on the bottom right corner.
big fan of Genki continuing to use their basic & simplistic sketch logo they created back in 1994.
more physical games should have images drawn in Microsoft Paint on the front cover.
