It looks like someone is scraping the #WCEU attendee page and reaching out via email trying to sell info. Just a reminder, the WCEU team did not and will NEVER share any attendee info with third parties. If you get an email, it’s a scam. Don't engage and stay safe.

For just $300, your company can be featured in front of thousands of #WordPress focused attendees.

Only TWO days left to register.

This is a must for all #WordPress professionals.

I'm not clear if this is the best way to approach this.

Or should I use `is_block_theme()` in PHP, then access it via something like the following in JS:

const isBlockTheme = window.isBlockThemeActive ?? false;

28.04.2025 17:09 πŸ‘ 0 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

`useSetting( 'spacing.margin' )` will return the Core-supported margin config if the theme supports it (via theme.json)

If it returns undefined or false, it means margin is not supported

So I can then manually render custom settings in BoxControl inside ToolsPanelItem so margin is still editable

Can anyone share docs or best practices in relation to building blocks in a plugin that require a "margin" setting, that will work in both classic & block themes? I'm trying to use WordPress UI components for a consistent UX.

The next post is my current thinking:

Proud of my nephew getting his debut for #CRFC first team yesterday. He's been at the club since he could hold a ball. Rugby has helped instil such positive values in him.

Tonight's #WPLDN might one of the tougher ones for me. I'm hoping we can stimulate thoughtful dialogue, balanced perspectives, and encourage a constructive exploration of the challenges and opportunities in the #WordPress community.

It was certainly an unexpected outcome from the #WPLDN Speed Build. I want to like it, but it challenges me in many ways, and I don't need to be challenged by a tool. A tool should improve my workflow.
