oh curious i don't see you on steam
rokoβs inverse basilisk: one day, we will have poured so many resources into a machine that it will become intelligent enough to tell us we wasted them
forecast showing snow every day monday - thursday

Slay the Spire 2 screen showing "Chapter 2 - Futility The Necrobinder [a stick figure or MS Paint art of a pink roobot, green bird, yellow guy, and red guy fighting. it clearly says "placeholder" on it] Jacktopher Grootz (Fighter): Crushed by a boulder Jose Paxo (Fighter) Fell in a hole Big Ed (Bard): Shot by a construct Garbo Doughbee (Healer) Touched grass Temi Mondes (Arcanist) Whereabouts unknown
this game has simply the best lore
feeling the "when you have a bad day... give up" guy today. Workday has been fucked and cannot be unfucked.
won 1st Regent run lol. am i the greatest gamer ever? it's possible. π if I win with the other two characters tomorrow, I'm retiring and they can put that achievement on my tombstone
Slay the Spire 2 screenshot. Silent is fighting some sort of big reptilian quadruped, which is wearing a strange collar
won 1st Ironclad run
won 1st Silent run (legit one of the most exciting, asshole-puckered runs of StS i've ever had)
amazing game already 10/10
it's here!!!!!!
it was bold of blizzard entertainment to release a new expansion for their indie game "World of Warcraft" the same week as industry giant Slay the Spire 2. we'll see if it pays off for them.
Slay the Spire 2's concurrent Steam players just hit 179,456, the highest ever for any roguelike.
When StS1 first launched back in 2017, it had 193 concurrent players.
That's a 92,982% increase, meaning StS3 is on track to hit 166,861,777 concurrent players by 2035. πͺ
the evidence is not corroborated yet but it sure does seem like the US military killed 180 children and teachers in Iran by using Facebook AI to target their missiles
did vanessa survive cata deadmines or was it retconned later? I honestly forget
that's gorgeous
purple rune is defo dalaran crater i think. it's right on the shore of the lake (i've been to that area a bunch in classic lol)
lol so they just have disses prepared for all the alliance characters based on their class?
p.s. unfortunately i am scheduled until 5pm tomorrow, but maybe that's for the best so i don't no-life the video game all day π
I've beaten the video game and board game on every character on the highest difficulty. The StS streamer @jorbs.bsky.social is my longest Twitch sub and his Discord is one of my favourite communities.
It's crazy to think that I would straight up be a different person if I hadn't played this game.
Steam Slay the Spire page with 1237 hours played and 46/46 achievements
Slay the Spire 2 releases tomorrow! I first played StS in 2020, and then *really* started playing a lot in 2022.
It's now my most played game on Steam. It taught me to play card games and strategy games at a much higher level. I even had a stint of playing the board game for several months.
is Silvermoon a questing hub for both factions now?
If it's for the sake of "keeping runs the same", it would have taken one handwaved explanation of "haha well yes, my eternal suffering is done but i'm just hanging out here anyway" - there were like a million of these in Hades 1 and no one cared!
Some stuff, like the ending to the Prometheus and Arachne side stories, almost seems like an *intentional* choice to do nothing and not change the status quo. Which is quite bizarre.
slightly more accessible, and a lot of luck/other factors led to their massive success.
So you can definitely say "people should try Pyre!! It is underrated!!", but you cannot by any sane metric put its writing, or its music, or its gameplay at the TOP of all 5 games. Come on.
Sure, I think you can look at the success and recption of Supergiant's projects - Hades 1 winning 70x GOTY awards, Bastion being one of the most famous indie darlings of all time - and feel that the grading is... uneven.
Bastion and Hades are not 70x better than Transistor or Pyre, they are just
Hades 2 devs pleased to see players "engaging" with narrative, even if they're disappointed
aftermath.site/hades-2-superg...
why is "Pyre is Supergiant's best game" such an incessant hipster opinion, it's not like even close to true lol
yeah i meant the *slower one locked. which really is what makes it ???
i love the idea of RTS games, but at this point i will simply never have the speed and manual dexterity to do all that shit with my mouse and keyboard
Yeah i saw this mentioned elsewhere and it's baffling. One flying unlocked but the faster one locked? Are they ok over there
I'm pretty sure dragonriding also causes a bunch of motion sickness so this is an accessibility issue on top
can we invent neural implants, but only so that i can play Starcraft Brood War and control the unots with my mind
Serenity remake for 2026 where instead of a special gas making the Reavers insane, it was the covid vaccine
