It gets scarry and annoying. Code reviewing now take about 3 times longer, because of weird unrelated changes, “interesting” implememtations and usually little thought or testing is put into it so it makes sense less and less.

Same for documents, feels less personal.

vite logo proposal from @marcisbee.com

Someone bumped a four-year-old discussion in which @marcisbee.com proposed a logo for @vite.dev. Until then, vite was using the zap emoji as its logo. I completely forgot about this origin story. Not long after, @evanyou.me crafted the logo we all know now, inspired by Marcis' design.

First I was thinking oh great from 70Mb+ down to 2Mb, this is massively impressive, but then I realized it's ~2Mb smaller.
Still impressive tho!

When I first leardned about attr(), I was dissapointed that it only had one usage. With this, the doors are open to crazy amount of thing 🎉
