This week Rep Fiedler, the office of @pasenatorsaval.com and myself, were able to present official citations to Phila Lorn from Mawn. Phila is one of the recipients of the 2025 Emerging Chef James Beard Award.

My team was able to go to a PFT strike prep this week, to help out the teachers in our community.

Since mid-June, my office has hosted a Back-to-School Drive.
I want to thank everyone from the community who was able to donate, because of the community effort, we have collected so many items for Cradles to Crayons in Philadelphia.
Last week I was honored to be a part of a ROPA panel discussion. The event was attended by musicians from all across the country. As Evan from the AFL-CIO said, "food grows best when your shadows on the soil".
We have a new mural in our district - a work of art celebrating William Still and his family for their instrumental role in Philadelphia's history of the Underground Railroad.
We presented the artist, Ernel Martinez, with a citation from our office for the creation of the beautiful work of art.

My team had a great time at South Street's National Night Out this past weekend!
Earlier this week, my team was able to tour @Philabundance and help out with food production.
They prepared over 300 meals for Philabundance's LunchBox program, and got to learn about the facilities, and their education program.

My office had a great time at South Street Live for Maifest over the weekend. My staff got the opportunity to interact with many visitors and residents of the community. Events like this are a reminder of what makes our city so vibrant and special!
