@viewmaster.bex:

A thermal photo shows the back of a cat, its tail is 72.6 degrees and its butt is 94.3.

What we are working on right now: blog.exe.dev/meet-exe.dev

We all need more virtual machines. We keep building software to work around the fact that VM infrastructure is clunky. Let's have good VM infrastructure instead.

This composition had eluded me for nearly a decade, but yesterday I was finally able to capture it. A train rolled through just as the Duquesne Incline was crossing over the tracks in #Pittsburgh, creating a picture perfect winter scene. It was worth the hours and hours I've waited over the years.

I came back from Sync Conf and shocked how many people are building text editors and the struggles they had with yjs.

So rather than wait for my cofounder to finish his blog, I’ll just give a quick rundown on what we do for live collab editing.

Why couldn't those sniveling little city dwellers see that you were meant to lead them? You're now a twice certified loser from a family of winners. Your father's name is on a bridge. Two edited stills from the animated film "Porco Rosso"

1: A portly human with the head of a cow pours a drink for themself while standing beneath an umbrella on a beach. A phone, a radio, and 4 crudely made tools are scattered about.

2: the cow-person is gearing a long single-lense flight goggle and giving a thumbs up to camera from the open cockpit of a plane they are flying

A parody of John Waters' "Serial Mom", except it's "Serializable Mom". I'm holding scissors (to partition the network) and trying to channel my best homage to Kathleen Turner.

At AWS, I led the team that built EC2's Nitro virtualization stackβ€” C code deployed to 500K servers. Biggest lesson? Pre-production testing has limits. You must embrace safe production testing.

My new blog explains how Nitro did it, and how Junction brings this to any Kubernetes team.
