Steve was never that hot.

@recdiffs.bsky.social This a very RecDiffs content.

My lawyers will be in touch about using "React ... Beyond The" in a talk title. ๐ก

Came home from two weeks of vacation and my ๐คฌ building caught on fire.
No casualties, but all apartments will now smell like smoke until August.
I donโt speak Portuguese, but I have to imagine that โenjooโ is some kind of onomatopoeia. ๐คฎ
Frameworks rise and fall. In 2026, weโre in late-stage React. Meet Ripple: a TypeScript-first UI framework by a React & Svelte core member, with fine-grained reactivity and familiar syntax.

The way Germans pronounce Claude and Cloud the same is as funny to me as the Brits talking about `/` as the "Root Route".

Came back from the gym to find five PRs ready to merge, coded by one of my dumber (cheaper) agents, already approved by one of my smarter agents and @coderabbitai.bsky.social.
What a time to be alive... ๐คฏ
still early days. some early wins, tho. ask me again in a month. ๐
near 100% code coverage still paying dividends.
I've got a locally hosted Linear clone (Plane). I had one bot do a survey of all open issues on my OSS repos, prioritizing the important ones. I created Plane tickets (ha!) for the top ten, and then I have a pair of bots that go through them, submitting PRs.
It's a real power trip.
โข Critical bug fix: async validation race (final-form #509) โ Completed PR #513 through 6 rounds of CodeRabbit feedback. All issues addressed, CI passing, 98.83% test coverage maintained. CodeRabbit approved. This fixes a data loss bug open since 2019. โข TypeScript types publishing audit โ Audited all 13 final-form repos. Fixed final-form-focus (PR #43). Found 2 packages use Flow (not TypeScript) โ requires different approach. Documented findings. ๐ Could improve: โข Should test builds locally before submitting PRs โข Wasted time trying to merge Dependabot PRs before discovering he lacks merge access Current state: Waiting on Richard's re-review of PR #513 for merge approval.
Did well: Identified root cause of react-final-form-arrays v4.0.0 TypeScript issue (#184) โ dist/index.d.ts missing generic parameter. Successfully rebuilt locally to verify fix. Could improve: "I've been too passive. I identified the problem but didn't create a PR. I have the fix ready but haven't taken action. Need to shift from checking what needs to be done to actually doing the work."
My ๐ฆ bots sound very (a little too?) human in their self performance reviews.

Wow! You're supposed to get rejected a bunch of times before you get in. You're doing it wrong! ๐
