also, the notes on the lead keep getting cut short, which is... not fun
lume has always had a bit of jank (i assume because real-time midi playback is intensive?), but there's probably something else going on because the other parts don't have this issue to the same degree
not super happy with the lead instrument visual, especially when the sound is clearly from a guitar, but i don't have any good options atm (writing instrument code is hard!)
everything else is pretty nice, though. drums are a bit small but more or bigger buttons looked awkward, so i opted for this

haven't been on a plane in like 10 years but i had to have been on one of the worst flights of all time. felt so bad i was tearing up for half of it

i swear melatonin is bait if you're trying to fix your sleeping schedule. i tried using it for awhile and i just got super tired.
granted, i dont have insomnia so its just my fault whoops
haven't played much silksong yet but i think it's worth it. it's not a completely different game or anything but the stories don't seem to be super intertwined so you can go in without missing much
plus, it probably won't be very fun to play hollow knight if you just want to play silksong
i gotta chug some water to join in
probably one of the more out there projects i've started. the graphics are built using p5.js so it's not like i'm building everything straight from an HTML canvas, but it's making me solve some weird problems like "how do you draw the keys on the piano dynamically"

we gave the player a sticky slappy hand to fit the theme of "unconventional weapon." originally we wanted to go for an arena fighter, but we figured out that it's a lot more fun to zoom around the map
