Good point! I assume some sort of hook to alternate LOAD and SAVE routines unless it replaced the ROM entirely. Was it possible to "add" commands to the basic ROM?
43kb must have been a terribly inefficient layout. The Apple II had 113Kb floppy disks in 1978 and 140Kb disks in 1980.
I'd take that 64Kb RAM card though!
