Now i finally understand why it takes a whole month (or even more, a whole year) for the most BASIC ASS FEATURES to be added.

I feel increasingly that games journalism offered a bunch of very trenchant critiques to this sort of thing happening but made the critical error of issuing the critique and moving on, and not reckoning the reality of what it meant to live alongside this. I include myself in this.
