If you use genAI of any kind, you're no friend of mine and you're not welcome in my spaces. I've watched how the data centers are impacting minority areas, I've seen artists beg for someone to pay attention to their property being stolen without recompense, and I've watched the rich get richer.
I've blocked 100+ followers who use genAI in some form on Flickr at this point. It doesn't matter if it's backdrops, event or community flyers, ads, textures, or mesh. There's no excuse for it. It's not a tool, it's not inspiring. It's hurting communities, both virtual and real, beyond theft alone.
