π¨ It looks like the UK government is gearing up to upend copyright law in favour of AI companies, legalising the theft of their work.
This is despite creatives' huge protests, and despite previous proposals being roundly rejected by the public.
Please spread the word.

It's been two years since Akira Toriyama left us ;__;
Yeah, I quoted and linked the source. The original comments were only reading the headline and not taking into context the situation/context of the headline. I never hid it and pointed to where I quoted it from, with others who knew more about the skier, hours before this click bait title went up.
The FCC just opened public comments on SpaceX's plan to launch a million satellites to do AI compute in space. Under the current proposal, an environmental review won't be required. Please consider submitting a public comment to oppose this damaging plan.

I wanted to pick these up to get a discount for some multiplatform game battlepasses, but the deal had already expired shortly after this post.
Your years at Xbox were among the most exciting for me as a gaming fan. From a hidden Series-S on the shelf, T-Shirt game teases, & a willingness to be forward-facing for many candid interviews over the years.
I appreciate what the Xbox Team reached for and where you both got it to in 2026. TY <>β₯οΈ
If there is one thing I'd hoped this industry would remember the Phil Spencer and Sarah Bond era for, it would be a strive to make the gaming industry more accessible for developers and gamers in every aspect they could.
I appreciated your developments in game preservation and the free Xbox Enhancements for legacy titles. The ease to turn any Xbox into a Development kit, supporting/showcasing Indies, and showing a solid effort to reach out to foreign markets and connect devs and gamers. The list goes on...
I really connected with many of the goals/initiatives you achieved during your time as President of Gaming with Xbox. I admired your efforts to make gaming more accessible. Financially, with the Series S, Play Anywhere, Accessibility Hardware, and a strong push for multi-platform CrossPlay.

Sarah's post was made a few hours later over on LinkedIn.

Iβm assuming hire-ups canceled the next-gen Xbox hardware, and Phil/Sarah left or were phased out. I hate this outcome. I liked a lot of what Phil and Sarah brought to the industry (cross-gen gaming, adaptive controller, play anywhere). I think xbox wad ignored more than they should have early on.
Heartbreaking. The man lost his grandfather during the opening ceremony, hasn't even had the time to properly grieve -
Brutal stuff. He's also one of the most liked and kindest racers on the World Cup circuit. I hope he'll manage to bounce back -

This sucks. The work is done, just let it exsist. This was one of my main childhood set of games. I was stoked they did this but it's had way to short of a run.

Spruced it up a little.
they should make a movie series about how itβs irresponsible to use technology to mess with the natural order of things for profit
A coworker took this from her apartment. I haven't seen a crowd this size before. Maybe the first Women's March? But it was much much warmer that day. ICE OUT OF MINNESOTA!

Deepest condolences to all the family and friends of Vince Zampella and the other person involved.
Shocking, awful news.
Vince Zampella, video game developer behind βCall of Duty' franchise, killed in crash www.nbclosangeles.com/news/local/v...
I can't believe that we lost Vince Zampella. β€οΈ
Heβs had a strong hand in most games Iβve played over the last two decades. I canβt point to any one piece and say thatβs thanks to Vince, but I can point to a place in time and see his influence and direction. Such an absolutly tragic loss for his family and the communites built around his games.
I still canβt believe they never remastered Red Alert 2 and Tiberian Sun.
Someone has just restored "Daicon 3" from a rare 8mm copy.
It's the best version to date.
