Its amazing just how many people I've noticed with birthdays so close to my own....
The moment it starts to cause us issues, is the moment we have to step in.
So far its been harmless fun, but I've seen some instances of people going "Oh this is official lore!" but none of it came from any current developer for the game/universe.
We have no issue with people roleplaying or making their own headcannon.
But please don't go around claiming its official in any capacity as we don't want to be in a position where we have to start regulating this to some degree, we want people to be open and creative.
So something I've noticed regarding #votv socials.
If you're some form of roleplay account of a character from the game, please state clearly you're not affiliated with EternityDev.
Some people have assumed these are official when they're not, so please state this clearly on your profile!
Also I will preface this with the obvious, its early access, its gonna have some rough edges like any recently released indie title.
Find bugs, report bugs, carry on.

Discord did everything required of them for a 3rd party breach. Revoked access as soon as it was discovered, supported where possible and informed the public and necessary parties.
The only liability at this point would be reputational, very unlikely they'd be held legally responsible.
