It's so bad out there. I've also been on hiring panels within the last year reviewing these applications and so many are bots or deeply unserious applications because people are just throwing things everywhere hoping SOMETHING sticks.
Honestly do the analysts ever talk to real people? Anyone who actually works for a living has know this for at least a year.
I applied to over 300 jobs last spring, all of which I was qualified for, and got 4 interviews. I'm still getting auto deny form emails a year later...
Just saw the MAGA pokopia meme and I want to barf. This is the SECOND time they've used pokemon to further their hateful agenda and I hope Nintendo sues the fuck out of them.
Trading him at 1am this morning is fucking diabolical.
Little Donny says he "guesses" Americans should be worried about strikes on US soil because some people will die.
He should be worried about what's coming for him this fall.
Heres the answer to my questions: bsky.app/profile/tani...
What are the special election rules in OK, and is it something we can realistically flip?
Now that Congress remembers how to do its job, do the rest now. Let's start with Kash.
Hearing ICE Barbie been taken out to the farm??
It's so freaking adorable, I love it so much already.
It's Pokopia release day and yes I will be burying myself in a Pokemon-Minecraft-Animal Crossing hybrid to distract me from *all of this*
Fully agree there which is why I try to be really vocal about races like this where both candidates are amazing AND EITHER ONE WOULD BE INCREDIBLE.
But now that primaries are over, we gotta back that horse. What they did in NYC to mamdani can't happen this fall.
I do love the Carnegie library though, was one of my favorite places to read while in college.
As a carney*, a state fair carney!
Omg CARNEY! Why would it even correct to that!?
Progressives CANT win in every district... yet.
But they can win in a lot more now, thanks to the work of moderates who have been turning red areas purple over the last decade, opening them up to more and more progressive candidates who run and win.
I was lured into my first ever job as a Carnegie by a cowboy who promised me all the fries I could eat for free.
Don't get me wrong I love Jasmine too! I want to see her run for AG or gov even next cycle because she's so incredible and will fight to improve the lives of all Texans like she's fought for the rest of us in Congress.
It's so hard when both candidates in a primary are excellent humans.
He's gonna be the next Senator from Texas.
@capitals.bsky.social trading John Mf Carlson is a shocker. My ghasts are flabbered.
Anyone could see TVR trade coming all season but Johnny!?!?
Imagine using this much tax revenue on helping people right here in the US instead of killing people on the other side of the world.
I'm getting flashbacks of the Covid counters I was building in the early days of 2020, and I fear these will soon balloon to numbers too large to keep displaying like this.
So many people who decided to run for something after 2016 and 2024 are winning their races this year.
You could be next! Run for something and give your community a voice for tomorrow!
Incredibly* likely chance.
Highlighting my earlier thread on why choosing a candidate that can win in the general is so important.
@jamestalarico.bsky.social will likely take on Cornyn this with an incredulous likely chance to flip TX for senate control.
We're coming this fall. And we will win.
Her treats are so amazing!
When I worked with Swifties for Kamala in 2024, we were starting to do similar endorsements, hosting events and big social partnerships, doing a lot of non-partisan voting education.
We did have a website (which I built) and socials and a podcast and a number of other ways to get the word out like tshirt drives, and it helped having the incredible @hollyoreilly.bsky.social helming it all.
