After thinking about it for several days. I think it’s finally dawned on me. For years I’ve been a depressed codependent and have been dealing with it so long I never recognized it. That I always wrote it off as having a low. But in reality I’ve been wearing a mask so well I could never recognize it
Part of me wonders why I don’t hang out with friends that seem to enjoy me more.
Maybe I’m afraid of being disappointed if they leave me.
Maybe I should be real more often.
But the fear of losing that emotional investment is strong
The hesitation kills me as I watch their worlds go by without me
