Store passkeys in The provider you trust, just like with passwords. It can be just about any major OS, browser or password manager. Passkeys for Entra is a bit picky but I've written a lot about that too...

The key pair is generated when you set up a passkey, which you do for each service which requires authentication. So for example one passkey for Entra, one for Visma, one for GitHub etc etc. the public key is stored both in your passkey provider, and the service gets a copy of the public key.

And with phishing being the most common attack vector, moving users to a more secure authentication method which also neutralizes phishing makes a huge difference

They are an authentication method designed to be both more secure and easier to use than passwords+MFA. They are based on asymmetrical keys so they are immune to both replay attacks, phishing and impersonation attacks. They can also replace passwords completely with biometrics for example.
